James Gross

James Gross is an American entrepreneur. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of Micromobility Industries and Ride Review. James also co-founded Variance, a CRM for software companies and Percolate, the system of record for marketing. James lives in Encinitas, CA and enjoys all forms of micromobility and surfing.

Horace Dediu

Horace Dediu is an analyst and founder of Asymco, the Critical Path and the Micromobility podcast. Horace coined the term “micromobility” to describe shared vehicles weighing less than 1000 kg. Horace lives in Helsinki & Padasjoki Finland, Boston MA, Torrevieja Spain, and San Francisco, CA.

Luke Hopping

Luke is the Head of Programming and Strategy for Micromobility Industries. An editorial and communications executive with over five years of experience in media, events, and publishing, he is interested in the intersection of policy, transportation, and culture. He is based in New York.

Cecily Lloyd

Cecily Lloyd is currently pursuing her MBA at Berkeley's Haas School of Business and is interested in the intersection between business, technology, design, and transportation. Prior to Haas, Cecily worked across disciplines at the software startup Percolate, primarily in implementation and strategy. Cecily lives in Oakland and commutes daily via ebike along the Bike Boulevard.

Taylor Robichaud

Based in San Diego, California, Taylor Robichaud is the Sales and Account Manager for Micromobility Industries. Her role entails supporting the growth of key partnerships. When she is not working, you can find her playing spikeball or riding her VanMoof on the coast.

Gian Caputo

Gian Caputo is an established Industrial Designer and Project/Production Manager. He has experience in a wide range of design and production fields including: graphic, product, packaging, point-of-purchase, exhibit, tradeshow, event and even architecture.

Gian also loves to ride trails around the Bay Area with his family.

Julia Thayne

Julia Thayne is an advisor to Micromobility Industries and co-hosts Ride On!, a weekly show about micromobility on YouTube. Julia is also the co-host of Micromobility America, Micromobility Europe and The Rider's Choice Awards. Rumor has it, you might seeing her reviewing vehicles over at Ride Review in the future.

Julia is a senior principal on RMI’s Climate Aligned Industries Program, where she leads efforts to build out Clean Industrial Hubs in LA, California, Houston, and the US Gulf Coast. Her projects include renewable electricity, clean hydrogen, and low-carbon fuel investments to decarbonize industry and aviation, shipping, and trucking.

Oliver Bruce

Oliver Bruce is an angel investor and co-host of the Micromobility Podcast with Horace Dediu. Previously, he was with Uber in Australia and New Zealand working on strategic projects and business development. He lives in Wellington, New Zealand.

Kat Gillis

By day, Kat Gillis is Head of Product at Record360 in Seattle, where she enables companies to manage their tangible assets with mobile devices. By night, she's a proud German native—the home to millions of ebikes!

Sofia Hoflin

Sofia Hoflin is a Swedish graphic designer based in Brooklyn. She was the Creative Director at Percolate, and most recently spent four months hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and then another month exploring Africa.
